Now that we know Global TV’s decision not to renew Bomb Girls is final, is there still any point in writing to them? Why, yes, of course. Perhaps not to ask them for a third season, but certainly to ask them for the season 2 DVD set to be released, and one that has decent extras. (Edit: We know now that it’s Muse Entertainment and not Global who is largely responsible for the DVD release.) The 2-hour TV movie was recently confirmed again, and it seems to be going ahead. We can reinforce Global’s decision to produce it and prove our willingness to watch it. Write to them to tell them how much you’re looking forward to watching it. |
Please also continue telling friends, family, and social media contacts about the show. We want the movie to have great ratings, so the interest in the characters and storylines should be cultivated throughout the months-long wait until it airs.

Our plan is to donate the money to the Ajax Bomb Girls charity towards the end of June/beginning of July. We will also keep you in the loop about future activities of how we can keep the Bomb Girls legacy alive, perhaps even get other networks interested in picking the show up for the 2014/15 season.
